It was in the early 1990s when all 3 owners of SJR started their careers in the powersports industry in separate locations. We met each other at a point in the late 1990s when we worked together at a local Elkhart dealership. In the early 2000s we all chose different paths that would lead us in different directions but keep us close to our roots. We had talked about the possibility of starting our own powersports dealership for years and in January of 2021 we sat down and made a plan to make that happen. Our goal was to create a trusted powersports dealership in Elkhart IN where riders could receive experienced service, honest guidance, and dependable support. We opened on May 1st and SJR brings a level of professionalism and customer care above and beyond customer expectations. Our staff has both training and, more importantly, real world experience in American V-Twin and metric bikes, and off-road vehicles.
